Holiday Light Parade

The Club is participating in the Holiday Light Parade in Kennett Square on Saturday, Nov. 30 at 7 p.m. The Hicks family has generously offered one of their wagons to the Club to decorate and use as a float. We will need volunteers to help decorate the float in the afternoon on Nov. 30th. The wagon will hold roughly 20 people. Additional volunteers can walk alongside the wagon. Further details will be forthcoming. Click the event listing below to RSVP and let us know if you want to participate.

Holiday Club Schedules

Thanksgiving

The Club will be closed on Thanksgiving. All teams and programs should follow their TeamSnap schedule for practice cancellations and reach out to their coaches and managers with questions.

View the Thanksgiving weekend Rink Schedule here.

Winter Break

The Club winter break schedule will also be posted soon. Our teams and programs take a break from their usual schedules but you can expect hockey clinics, Open Hockey, extended Family Skate, and more. Stay tuned!

Learn to Play

We have a few spots left in Learn to Play, a great opportunity for kids who have completed Learn to Skate and want to try hockey. Kids will develop fundamental skills, sportsmanship, and team play while having fun in an informal environment. Sessions are on Sunday afternoons through March.

Cougars Updates

Play of the Week Nominations

Travis Blaine #5, 10U A National Bojarski

Travis anchored the Cougars with rock-solid defense throughout the game, proving himself to be an indispensable presence on the ice. In the second period, he showcased his versatility and offensive prowess by skating up to score a critical goal. However, his defining moment came in overtime when he truly shined. With the game on the line, Travis capitalized on a beautiful pass from Brycen Bley to net the game-winning goal, sealing a thrilling, hard-fought victory for the Cougars. Travis’s dedication, skill, and ability to perform under pressure make him a standout candidate for Play of the Week.

Jack Showers #27, 12U A National Johnson

Jack crashes the net and drives home a rebound to seal the game.

Tuff Lofting #33, 14U B Grassi

Tuff exhibits a good takeaway in the neutral zone, skates through 3 defenders, and goes top shelf near side for what turned out to be the game-winner. He almost stuck the landing too.

Player of the Week Nominations

Nolan Brown, 10U A American Crosby

Nolan registered a hat trick to help push the Cougars over the line Saturday to get their first win of the season. It was a great team effort with everyone pitching in secure the W. Jameson Hicks, Nox Martin, and Stephen Crosby all had 2 goals as well. The boys battled hard and finally got a well-deserved win.

Brophy Betz, 12U A National Johnson

Brophy is a first-year Peewee who excels in many skills but none more than effort and grind. On the smaller side of the players he is playing against, he sets an example for his teammates on how to compete every time he is on the ice. Brophy had the game-winning goal and an assist in the win over a tough Exton team and played very well against Hershey.

Ethan Slowik, 14U B Grassi

Ethan is a dedicated player who gives everything he has on the ice. He and his linemates kept us in a closely contested two periods and then blew the game open in the third. Ethan had 3 assists in the third period including assisting on the game-winning goal. This outstanding performance capped off a 4-point weekend for Ethan helping his team get two big wins.

Brycen Bley, 10U A National Bojarski

Brycen Bley displayed exceptional two-way play this weekend. Brycen was a dominant force on the ice, showcasing a relentless forecheck and strong overall performance in both games for the Cougars. He contributed significantly on the scoreboard with two critical goals and three assists over the weekend. His playmaking ability was on full display with a highlight-reel assist on the overtime game-winning goal against the Exton Kings. Brycen’s consistency, hustle, and offensive contributions make him a deserving candidate for Player of the Week.
